Meeting together on Sundays
Our Sunday morning services at 10.30am are filled with both gravity and gladness. We feel the immense privilege of meeting in the presence of God as the people of God. We are connected to 2000 years of Christians who have gone before us. Online services remain popular today and have been a great blessing, but they aren’t church. The word “Church” means assembly and speaks of Christian’s gathered together, so we prioritise meeting together in person knowing God will be present.
What can you expect?
The service has a contemporary feel. We sing uplifting worship songs together, a mixture of modern and traditional. There is a reading from the Bible so we can hear God speak to us, and we speak to Him. And there is a talk that explains what the Bible means for how we live today. Many people talk of experiencing God’s peace and presence and are captivated by God’s Word and Spirit.
There is a children’s talk that everyone enjoys. There is also both a creche for pre-school age children and a Sunday school for 4 to 10-year olds. We are blessed with many children in the church as well as people of all ages.
You are very welcome to join us; we would be delighted to see you. No one is put on the spot or asked to do anything during the service so you can safely come and experience it for yourself. If you need a lift to church, we have a minibus that picks people up, just use the book now button at the bottom of the page or call 01509 808576. Or do feel free to email if you have any questions: email@example.com
On the fourth Sunday of every month we all bring food and have lunch together. It’s a love feast where we enjoy each-others company and food. With people from different parts of the world in the church there is always a great variety of flavours to enjoy.
At 6pm on Sunday evenings we meet together to worship in song and pray. We believe that God answers prayer and very little of eternal value happens without praying. When we work, we work; but when we pray, God works. We value prayer highly and love to spend time together talking to our heavenly Father.
