This was a follow up to a previous mission trip when we took aid into a disaster situation that had killed thousands. On this occasion we visited some of the same people to see how they were doing. Much progress had been made in rebuilding although there was still a lot to do.

As a team we gave out care packages, and went into troubled areas and shared the gospel house to house and invited people to an evangelistic event. It was amazing to see people responding to the gospel, and how the Lord overcame the language barrier. We were amazed by the resilience and joyfulness of this great people. This phase of the trip was rounded off with baptisms.

Our pastor, Trevor, held a leadership conference to train and help local leaders in understanding and preaching the Bible. We also had some great down times at the beach and enjoying the company of many new friends.
