Come & See

A 4th century Christian called Augustine once prayed “O’ God, our hearts are restless until we find our rest in you.”

This is ancient wisdom that holds true today. Countless Christians have discovered that a real spiritual relationship with God through His Son, Jesus brings rest and peace to our souls. Not only rest and peace, but also purpose and truly finding out who we were created to be.

We have been misled in the west to believe that only physical things exist. This has impoverished our spiritual lives. The truth is there is a spiritual realm that is discovered in our experience when we get to know the risen Son of God.

Come & See is what we call the opportunities at New Life to discover for yourself the reality of God and the joy of knowing Him.  We don’t believe one size fits all, so we like to tailor the experience for each individual.  Below are some of the pathways you can join.   Contact us at info@niccl.org.uk to find out more.

Faith Food is a weekly meal together where we just chat, answer questions, and explore spiritual realities.  This is very informal and unstructured to give space to both hear and be heard.  Ancient Christian wisdom sets the scene as we grow spiritually together.

Christianity Explored is where we meet for a meal, watch a short video and then discuss different topics over 7 weeks.  This is a more structured approach that has a beginning, middle and end.  It can be in a group or one to one, which ever you prefer.

Our Sunday service at 10.30am is a great way to explore faith and spirituality.  There is uplifting worship music, an engaging talk and prayer.   Many people say they not only learn more but experience God’s presence and peace.

If you want to just meet up for a coffee and chat we love to do that too!  That can be at a coffee shop, at the church building, or in your home.  Whatever suits you.  The important thing is having an opportunity to talk together about the things that matter.
